FavorPrep™ Lysozyme/Lyticase Solution Set is designed to pretreat specimens with Gram-positive bacteria & fungal cells in nucleic acid extraction. In the general nucleic acid extraction procedure, proteinase K and guanidine contained lysis buffer is wildly used to lyse tissues and cells, however, the use of proteinase K and guanidine salt is hard to digest the cell wall in both Gram-positive bacteria & fungal cells.

FavorPrep™ Lysozyme/Lyticase Mixture provides a convenient way to digest specimens with Gram-positive bacteria & fungal cells in single treatment. It is able to apply in nucleic acid extraction for widely downstream applications, like qPCR, NGS.
